Amana Amana

Amana is the primary organization entrusted with the establishment and development of Jewish settlement in Yesha. Founded in 1978, Amana communities are found all across Yesha and into the Galilee. Amana activities involve all areas necessary to insure quality of community life including:

• Organizing groups of families interested in building a new community or neighborhood
• Supervising and guiding new communities and neighborhoods until they are capable of full independent governing of themselves
• Serving as liaison with governmental offices and other official organizations to further the development of the communities/neighborhoods
• Encouraging the absorption of new immigrants through community frameworks
• Educating the general public as to residential and employment opportunity in Yesha communities/neighborhoods
• Building housing projects through its subsidiary, Binyanei Bar Amana
