The Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County, along with the Jack and Jessica Blinkoff Scholarship Fund and the Youth to Israel committee, is offering Israel Experience scholarships.
Their aim is to encourage Jewish high school students to visit Israel to build or reinforce their Jewish identity, to appreciate the land and its culture, and to strengthen a connection with Israel that will remain with them for the rest of their lives, according to organizers.
Offered are need-based and merit scholarships, available to teens entering grades 10-12 who reside in Orange County, and whose parents contribute to the Jewish Federation’s annual campaign. Participants may choose their own trip from among various Jewish summer programs.
To apply or for more information visit www.jewishorangeny.org or call 562-7860. The deadline is Jan. 31.
