After planting trees in Gush Etzion in the beginning of the week and declaring the importance of the region to the State of Israel, now and in the future, today Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the city of Ariel in the Shomron and delivered the same message.
Ariel is the capital of the West Bank and an indisputable part of Israel pledged the Prime Minister just after he planted a tree for Tu B'shvat. He also made sure to declare that "we are continuing to build".
These statements come during a time period when the peace talks with the Palestinians are in a freeze, despite the efforts of the Prime Minister and his government to return to the negotiation table. PM Netanyahu can at least thank President Obama for recognizing his efforts to return to the negotations, as the President noted in his recent State of the Union address in Washington, DC.
